Motion Art Space is the first motion art experience in the world that started from Singapore! By combining art with science, we’ve built a playful, hands-on environment where your team can unwind, experiment, and express their creativity — no experience needed.
Your team will enter a vibrant space where they can experiment, play, and create unique artworks. The experience is soft-guided — we provide a short 5-minute instructional video to get you started, after which the session is self-directed and free-flowing.
All materials are included — canvases, paint, tools, and aprons. Each guest creates their own piece, and there’s no need for any prior art experience.
The atmosphere is designed to spark creativity, encourage connection, and offer a refreshing change from the everyday work routine.
It’s a unique way for teams to unwind, explore, and bond through a shared creative experience that’s both energising and memorable.
Everyone is an artist at Motion Art Space! You’re free to create without pressure or prior skill — no artistic experience is required to make your own masterpiece. A short instruction is provided at the space, and you can simply explore at your own pace.
Our experience is age-agnostic — perfect for teams with a wide age range! Whether young or young-at-heart, everyone can enjoy the activity together (we’ve even had guests as young as 80).
Our experience is inclusive, low-pressure, and naturally encourages interaction — making it ideal for building connections across different age groups within your team.
Our sessions are booked by the hour — 1, 2, or 3-hour options are available (contact us for longer events).
Our studio is a shoe-off space, and we provide aprons to keep clothes clean. That said, we recommend wearing something comfortable that you wouldn’t mind getting a little paint on — just in case.
Cleanup stations are also available at the end of your session!
Your session begins with a short 5-minute instructional video introducing the tools and techniques.
After that, each guest is provided with their canvas and can begin by selecting their colours. For team-building sessions that are 2 hours or longer, you can start off with a fun colour-mixing competition mini-game to get everyone engaged.
Guests are then free to explore, experiment, and create their own masterpieces at their own pace.
For longer sessions, we also recommend some team paintings after the individual artworks — perfect if you’d like to create a collaborative piece to display in your office!
Finally, we wrap up with a team photo and provide washing stations for clean-up at the end of the session.
We don’t provide food during the session, and recommend planning for food only if you’re booking a 2-hour session or longer.
We do offer a free-flow refreshment add-on — let us know if you’d like to include it!
You’re welcome to bring your own finger food, but it must be cleared before the end of the session to ensure a smooth wrap-up. If you need help, we’re happy to recommend trusted food partners.
Prefer to head out after? Arab Street is surrounded by great restaurants — perfect for ending your session over a team meal.
Yes, you do! It takes 3 days for the paintings to dry and for us to process them. We store completed paintings for up to 2 weeks due to limited space. Paintings left beyond 2 weeks will be donated or disposed of, so please book your pickup early.
For teams, we highly recommend choosing the courier option to have your paintings delivered straight to your office after the session!
We run a tight schedule with fixed session durations. If you arrive late, we’ll still need to end your session at the originally scheduled time, as other groups may be booked right after yours. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early to get the most out of your experience!
If you have more participants on the day, you can pay for the additional guests on-site.
If someone doesn’t attend, the session is unfortunately not transferable or usable on another day. We recommend using the extra package for a team painting (great for display!) or letting another team member create an additional artwork.
All bookings are final and non-refundable. As each session is prepared in advance, rescheduling is not allowed once a booking is confirmed. We recommend double-checking your availability before booking, and appreciate your understanding!
Unfortunately, our studio is located on the second floor of a heritage shophouse along Arab Street and is only accessible via stairs. We sincerely apologise for this limitation.
We love capturing memories! Photos may be taken during your session for publication or sharing. By booking with us, you agree to our Terms & Conditions, which include the possibility of photography at the space.
If you prefer not to appear in any photos, just let our Guest Experience Crew or Guest Support Team know — we’re happy to help.
